I have been wanting adjustable dumbbells for some time as they were the only thing missing from my home gym. I reviewed several adjustable types but was always disappointed by the price and/or that affordable sets usually only went up to 50lbs. I actually found these by accident on Amazon but was surprised by the price. I took the plunge and ordered them. I ordered them on a Monday and received them (from west coast to east coast) by Thursday of the same week.
The quality of the plates and handles is much better than you would expect for the price, the fit and finish are on the same level as any professional gym I have ever been a member of.
I would suggest that ANYONE that is in the market for an adjustable dumbbell set for either a home gym or P90X, this is all the set you will ever need at half the price and 2X's the total weight of most any other set.

For the price, you can't beat this product. The handles are long, but for my purposes that is fine - I'd rather have the longer handles because it allows the weights to go up to 100 lbs each. The weights did smell strongly of paint when I first unpacked them. However, I left them out for a few hours and burned some incense in a small room and I don't notice the scent of them anymore - even after the incense dissipated. My only other slight complaint is that the paint on them seems to sort of rub off on my hands. I rubbed each one with a paper towel, and it didn't completely fix this problem but it isn't a huge deal. Other than that, I am very pleased with my purchase, and these complaints are minor and will resolve themselves with time. As such, I'm giving this 5 stars.

You really won't find this amount of weight any cheaper and to be honest the quality is pretty good for what they are. The only reason I'm not rating these higher is because the handles are 14" inches long making overhead presses a little harder because the ends touch at the top so you have to be certain you go straight up instead of up and in if you lift that way. Other than that I recommend these for home use.
